Bio statement

Jacob Boye Hansen is the founder and CEO of HealthTerm – a Danish IT-company developing solutions for the healthcare sector. He has been involved in national projects in several countries – e.g., testing the Danish Conceptional Model for EHRs, developing National Patient Registers and translating SNOMED CT into local languages. He has been deeply involved in the conceptual designing of the HealthTerm App which will be released in a beta-version soon – an app to help liberate healthcare knowledge building upon the HealthTerm clinical terminology software and infrastructure. The app will enable healthcare professionals all around the world to share guidelines, care-plans etc. and will make clinical codes in different classifications and languages easy accessible. Jacob holds a MSc (Econ.) and is the current chair of CHI-Leverandoerforum – a network consisting of the leading Danish healthcare IT-vendors (http://www.v-chi.dk/netvaerkssamarbejder_og_faglige_selskaber/CHI-Leverandoerforum.html ).
